 Representative Sue Myrick (NC-9) came to Congress in 1995 after building a successful advertising and public relations business, and serving two terms as mayor of Charlotte, NC, the state’s largest city and commercial hub.  She is currently in her eighth term representing North Carolina's 9th district, which covers portions of Union, Mecklenburg, and Gaston Counties.

 The meetings begin with a reception at 11:30 a.m.– 12:00 noon. Followed promptly at 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. with our presentations and a delicious all you can eat lunch.

Reservations are required and Republican guest are always welcome; members $26, non-members $31, and college Republicans $15.

For regular meetings

Registration closes at noon on the Monday before each monthly meeting unless otherwise specified. Price increases to $31.00 for all late reservations and walk ins.

  Unless otherwise specified, meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month ; we do not meet in June, July and November. Meetings are from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Maggianos Italian Restaurant - SouthPark Mall unless otherwise noted. (includes family style lunch: all you can eat).

Membership Information

There are two types of membership available in CMRW, Active and Associate.

Active

Active membership is open to any woman who is a:
- registered Republican
- resident of North Carolina
- new resident intending to register Republican when eligible

Dues are $30.00 per year and are payable in advance by December 31 of each year.

When you become an Active member, you also become a member of the National
Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) and the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women (NCFRW).

Associate

Associate membership is open to any woman or man who is a:
- registered Republican
- member of another Republican Women’s Federated organization
- new resident intending to register Republican when eligible

Associate members may attend meetings, but cannot make motions, have a voice or a vote, be on a committee, hold office, or be counted for the purpose of determining the number of delegates to state or national meetings or conventions.  As associate members, they do not become members of the NCFRW or the NFRW.

Dues are $30.00 per year and are payable in advance by December 31 of each year.
